I'm a journalist with experience writing and editing print and digital content for newspaper outlets, online publications and print magazines.
My bylines have appeared on Parents.com, Popsugar.com, TasteOfHome.com, EatingWell.com, GoodHousekeeping.com, HouseBeautiful.com, RedBookMag.com, Cosmopolitan.com, MSN.com, StyleCaster.com, NJMOM, in Dr. Oz The Good Life and other best-selling national women's lifestyle magazine publications.
I've wanted to be a writer for as long as I can remember. Aside from my serious lack of mathematical skills and less-than-thrilled attitude toward history class, there were countless other reasons I was so certain of my passion at such a young age - the number one being that I simply loved to create using the written word.
This passion guided me through high school and my higher education. I began writing and editing pieces for my community college newspaper, and I loved it so much that I became a blogger for a lifestyle website.
I then ventured to NYC to intern at Dr. Oz The Good Life, where I fell head over heels for the magazine industry. When I finished up college I worked as an Editorial Assistant for GoodHousekeeping.com and HouseBeautiful.com, and I now pursue freelance work full-time.
I am a firm believer that writing is a true craft. It requires a definitive skill set, along with a working knowledge and constant awareness of the growing trends, topics and ever-changing world of media around us.
Great writing should challenge, inspire and above all, leave a lasting impact on every reader. I work hard to meet this standard with every project I take on, big or small.
